NMN is a naturally occurring vitamin B3 derivative and precursor of NAD+. As we age, our NAD+ levels naturally decrease and by the time we are 50, our levels are about half of what we had in our 20s.
NMN targets the decline of NAD+ in the body by actively replenishing NAD+ levels and repairing DNA through the activation of key proteins in our cells called Sirtuins. By replenishing NAD+ levels with NMN you can slow down your biological ageing at a cellular level while increasing energy levels, boosting metabolism and improving the quality of your sleep. Restoring healthy levels of NAD+ can also greatly reduce the risk of various age-related diseases and conditions, including both neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders.
If you are younger than 50, we recommend supplementing our NMN 500mg daily, taken every morning before breakfast.
If you are over 50, we suggest starting your new supplement regimen with our NMN 50+. We recommend that you begin by taking one 500mg capsule daily and after a week or two, increase the dosage to two capules daily, for the full age appropriate dosage.
NAD+ has been shown to regulate Circadian rhythm, reducing drowsiness and improving sleep quality therefore we recommend taking NMN in the morning as it serves as a wake-up call for your body and boosts energy levels for the day ahead.
